About Us

House of Prayer Ministries is a non-denominational Church based in the heart of the city of Plymouth, on the South West coast of England. We are made up of over 20 nationalities and a multiracial Congregation made up of European, Asian and African backgrounds. We feel that this makes us incredibly blessed as we are enriched by the variation of our cultures and different expressions of worship.

We have a great freedom in Praise and Worship and we give the word of God the highest place in the sanctuary. The results are awesome as we see God enriching our lives in giving us power to live the way that He has designed for us. House of Prayer Ministries is registered charity in United Kingdom. Charity Registration Number:1173516

Our vision

Our vision is to fulfil the call of God to build a Community of believers in the local area and around the world as a part of the body of Christ and to see lives transformed by the power of the Word of God and prayer.

Our Purpose

We exist:

  1. To share Christ and make Him known;
  2. To equip believers for the work of ministry;
  3. To serve and love Christ and our community;
  4. To fellowship;
  5. To Worship Christ

These are translated into five simple words that define the reason of our existence as a church:

  1. SHARING
  2. DISCIPLESHIP
  3. SERVING
  4. FELLOWSHIP
  5. WORHIPPING
